UAV Thermal Payload

Give your drone thermal vision.

The Thermal Backpack adds a high-resolution thermal camera to your existing drone. Watch live on any device while the backpack records everything on board. No new airframe to buy, no app to install, no cloud.

See what daylight cameras miss.

Inspect homes and roofs, find people, and track wildlife, day or night. The picture is on your screen the moment the drone is up.

Any device is the screen

Join the backpack’s own Wi-Fi from a phone, tablet or laptop and open the viewer in a browser. Nothing to download, and no internet needed in the field.

Keeps recording beyond signal range

Every photo and video is captured on the backpack itself, at the full frame rate. Start a recording, fly out of range, and it keeps going. Transfer everything to your device later.

Find what you came for

Check a home for heat loss, pick out a person in the dark, or follow wildlife through cover. Tap any point to compare it live, mark the hottest and coldest points, and switch palettes and zoom as you fly.

Keep the data

Save photos and video to any device, and keep the per-pixel data when you want to analyse a flight later.

1

Mount it

The backpack is fitted to your airframe and rides on the drone. Your stock camera and gimbal stay as they are.

2

Connect any device

Power up, join the backpack’s Wi-Fi and open the viewer in a browser. Live thermal is on your screen.

3

Fly and record

Fly your mission as usual, in or out of signal range. Photos and video stay on the backpack until you transfer them to your device.

Built onto the drone, not into it.

Designed by the engineers behind our flight hardware, with each part shaped around the airframe it rides on.

Works alongside your stock camera
The thermal lens sits beside the gimbal, so your daylight camera stays in place and flies as it always has.
